Very confusing - even some of the Stardock regulars didn't understand how to get FE activated now. The "steam CD key" is the number you get from the Steam library by right-clicking on FE and choosing the CD Key entry, which then goes into Stardock's activation dialog after launching the game. To reiterate: the "serial number" you get from Stardock when you purchase from them is actually the "steam activation number" to get the product into your Steam library and downloading. This is of course, if you have purchased directly from Stardock and not from Steam. The Stardock serial number is *only* to activate the product on Steam now. I tested this myself, and the software will activate with the Steam CD key in place of the "serial number" the Stardock activation dialog is asking for. That's the key you need to enter in the Stardock activation dialog. To get that right click on Fallen Enchantress in your steam library and select the "View CD Key" option.
